You Are Not Too Far Gone

Identity4 min read·by Azmina Garcia

If you have ever felt that your story went too far, stayed broken too long, or carried too much shame to come back from — I want you to hear this: you are not too far gone. Not even close.

The enemy of your soul is a master of one particular lie. He whispers that what happened to you, or what you did, has permanently disqualified you from the good life God has for everyone else. He wants you to believe the damage is the final word over your life.

But redemption has never once waited for someone to clean themselves up first. That is the whole scandal of grace. There is a love that finds you in the wreckage — not after you have tidied the mess, but right in the middle of it.

He gathers every broken piece and begins to make something breathtaking.

What the lie steals

When we believe we are too far gone, we stop reaching. We settle for survival. We build a smaller life around the wound and call it peace — but that is not peace, it is hiding.

The truth is that your brokenness is not a disqualification. In the hands of Jesus, it becomes the very place your testimony is born. The parts of your story that felt most shameful are often the places His love ends up shining the brightest.

The turning point

Healing begins the moment you let Him near the thing you were sure was unlovable. You do not have to have the words. You do not have to have it all together. You only have to be willing.

So wherever you are today, this is your invitation: stop agreeing with the lie. You were made to be free, to be whole, and to walk in the fullness of who God created you to be — beautiful, on purpose, and on time.
